New York—20 East End Avenue, a condo development on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, is being developed by Corigin Real Estate Group and Florida East Coast Realty, will feature 43 units, with sales managed by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group. The 17-story building is expected to be completed in the summer of 2016.
The property will include two- to six-bedroom units, as well as three duplex townhomes and two penthouses at the top, and many of the residences have private entrances. The residences range in size from about 1,900 to over 6,000 square feet, with anticipated asking prices from $4.5 million to over $25 million. The penthouses feature a 4,000-square-foot private terrace overlooking the Upper East Side and the East River.
Robert A.M. Stern Architects designed the property. Units will feature 11-foot ceiling heights, Appalachian white oak hardwood floors, custom designed paneled entry and interior doors, as well as moldings and casings designed specifically for the building. Some residences will feature private setback terraces, and a few will include private gardens along with outdoor gas and wood fireplaces; others will have interior gas fireplaces and some of the last city-approved wood-burning fireplaces.
The building will include a 24/7-attended lobby concierge. Other common amenities include a wine cellar featuring a private dining room with vaulted ceiling, along with a butler’s pantry and private, separate temperature and humidity controlled wine storage units, all one level down from the lobby. The lower level will also include a children’s game room and lounge; a 3,000-square-foot fitness center and spa with high- and low-impact training rooms, private treatment rooms and a sauna; as well as a bicycle storage area.
Corigin Real Estate Group and Florida East Coast Realty have partnered on other developments, totaling about 2.8 million square feet. Corigin is led by partners chairman and CEO Ryan Freedman and president Edward Baquero. Florida East Coast Reality, founded 60 years ago by its president, Tibor Hollo, and later joined at the helm by his two sons, Wayne and Jerome, has developed about 65 million square feet of properties.
