Construction Resumes at Brooklyn Condominium
Construction has resumed at Be@Schermerhorn, Jamestown Properties and SDS Procida’s 246-unit condominium. Sales are expected to re-launch in spring 2010.
Brooklyn, N.Y.—Construction has resumed at Be@Schermerhorn, Jamestown Properties and SDS Procida’s 246-unit condominium. Sales are expected to re-launch in spring 2010.
The project is approximately 92 percent completed, including most of the building’s residences, common areas and on-site parking facility. In addition, six new model residences are being built, and one of the penthouse units will serve as a model for purchasers.
When finished, 189 Schermerhorn Street will consist of studios, one- and two-bedroom residences, ranging in size from 441 to 1,037 square feet.
The building’s amenities include a 24-hour doorman; fitness center; a Be@ resident’s lounge featuring an entertainment center, flat screen TVs, a coffee bar and an iPod docking station; a 7,000-square-foot landscaped courtyard with a lounge; and a roof deck on the top floor of the building’s north tower. In addition, private rooftop cabanas will be available for sale, as well as a valet parking garage and storage units.
