A new Hines development project, Wolf Point East, is set to rise in Chicago. The building represents the second phase of the Wolf Point master plan, a luxury apartment project located on one of the last remaining riverfront sites in downtown Chicago. The developers are Hines, Joseph P. Kennedy Family, the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust and PNC Realty Investors, while the designer is Pelli Clarke Pelli. The tower will have 60 stories and 698 units, which are scheduled to become available in late 2019.

All units part of Wolf Point East will feature modern layouts and interior design schemes as well as high-quality indoor amenities and several dedicated outdoor spaces. The property will offer views down the south and east legs of the Chicago River. The tower is located close to the Chicago River Walk and multiple transit options.
“We continue to see intense demand for high-quality spaces in which to live, work and play along the Chicago River and we believe that Wolf Point East is well-positioned to satisfy the demands of Chicago’s sophisticated downtown residents,” said Hines’s Senior Managing Director Jim Walsh, in prepared remarks.
The construction loan was secured by a group of financial institutions including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, ULLICO, Citizens Bank and ING Real Estate Finance. The general contractor is Walsh Construction and the architect on record is Pappageorge Haymes Partners.
