Asheville, N.C.—Charleston-based Kassinger Development Group (KDG) recently announced that construction is underway and leasing has begun for luxury apartment homes in Arden, south of Asheville. Phase II of Audubon Place will be available for move-in during the month of April 2016.
Located at 1000 Flycatcher Way, Audubon Place currently features 256 upscale apartment homes with 86 new units to be built in the second phase of the project. Consisting of one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans, the community offers close proximity to the Asheville Regional Airport, the new Sierra Nevada Brewery and to convenient nearby shopping venues and restaurants.
“The team at KDG appreciates the beauty and lifestyle of Asheville as a wonderful place to live and vacation,” said Tyler Kassinger, development partner of Kassinger Development Group, in prepared remarks. Asheville was named as one of the top coziest cities in the United States according to Honeywell Heating Company, and is also home to more breweries per capita than any other city in the U.S.
KDG is also developing Sweetwater Apartments, a luxury waterfront community in Charleston, S.C. Audubon Place, as well as the other KDG communities, are managed by Pegasus Residential.
