Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage continues to expand in the greater Chicago area by acquiring its third company within a two-month time frame. McMullen Real Estate, which used to operate under Century 21, merged with the NRT firm following Groebe Real Estate and Chicagoland Realty Services.
“This acquisition further strengthens our foothold in Northwest Chicago and reinforces our commitment to serving buyers and sellers throughout the community. Barry and the talented group of real estate agents have built an outstanding reputation in this diverse marketplace based on providing superior service, and we look forward to working with them,” said Fran Broude, president of Coldwell Banker, in prepared remarks.
Administrative changes
McMullen, which has served the greater Chicago area since 1945, currently counts 200 affiliated agents at its 6400 N. Northwest Highway location. Following the merge, all business will be conducted under the banner of Coldwell Banker.
In addition, McMullen’s former president, Barry Paoli, will remain within the company as its managing director. He will be assisted by Angela Paoli, former vice president of business development & marketing officer.
