Century Communities Breaks Ground on Denver-Area Project
The development is slated for delivery in 2024.
Century Communities Inc. has broken ground on Lincoln Station Apartments, a 425-unit community in Lone Tree, Colo. The mixed-use development will also include 3,000 square feet of retail space and is slated for completion in 2024.
Lincoln Station Apartments will encompass a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, averaging 811 square feet. Common-area amenities are set to include two private courtyards, a pool, spas, a fitness center, rooftop deck, coworking space and dog park.
Located at 10273 Park Meadows Drive, the property will be across Kaiser Permanente Lone Tree Medical Offices and less than a mile southwest of Lincoln Avenue, with various retail options. Interstate 25, situated alongside the development, will offer residents easy access to downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center.
Economic fundamentals continued to improve over the past few quarters in Denver, underscoring steady growth in the multifamily sector. On a trailing three-month basis through November 2021, Denver registered a 0.7 percent rent growth, clocking in at $1,786, well above the $1,590 U.S. average.
Developers are also busy in the region: Northern Douglas County, which includes Lone Tree, currently has eight projects or 1,488 units in the pipeline. Meanwhile, the Denver metro has nearly 25,000 units under construction, according to Yardi Matrix data.
