CBRE|Raleigh’s New Team Member

CBRE has recently expanded its team in Raleigh.

CBRE|Raleigh has announced the addition of a new team member that will lead the firm’s new Debt and Structured Finance division for the Triangle area.

Roger Edwards has over 15 years of experience in arranging joint venture equity and debt financing for multifamily and commercial real estate transactions.

Prior to joining CBRE|Raleigh, Edwards was a managing director at Columbia National Real Estate Finance LLC, a regional commercial mortgage banking firm in the Mid-Atlantic. During his tenure, he closed over $2.3 billion of equity and debt financings for all types of multifamily and commercial real estate.

As a member of the CBRE|Raleigh team, Edwards will be in charge of securing equity and debt financing for multiple types of income producing properties.

“We are excited to have Roger as the newest member of our team.  The addition of the debt and structured finance division allows us to broaden our commercial real estate services for our clients and strengthen our capital markets offering as a company,” Tom Fritsch, CBRE|Raleigh managing director, said in prepared remarks.

Edwards holds a B.B.A degree from Southern Methodist University and a Master’s in Real Estate with a focus on development from Johns Hopkins University.  He is a member of the National Multi Housing Counsel, ULI, and the Johns Hopkins Real Estate Forum.
