Capstone Apartment Partners has arranged the $4.1 million sale of Uptown Court, a 30-unit garden-style community in Charlotte, N.C. Capstone’s Alex McDermott and Ron Corrao represented the seller and procured the buyer, DXE Properties. McDermott was also recently involved in brokering the sale of a 128-unit Greensboro property.
Situated at 415 W. 10th St., the property is in the historic Fourth Ward neighborhood in the heart of Charlotte, just off Freeway 46 and Interstate 277. Uptown Court also provides convenient access to public transportation, such as the 22 and 26 bus lines on North Graham Street. Additionally, the community is near a cluster of restaurants and entertainment options, such as the Levine Museum of the New South and ImaginOn: The Joe & Joan Martin Center.
Constructed in 1985, the property encompasses one- and two-bedroom units, featuring fully-equipped kitchens, hardwood-style vinyl flooring, upgraded cabinetry, granite countertops, subway tile backsplashes and stainless-steel appliances. The buyer plans to continue upgrading the apartments with new flooring, cabinetry and lighting packages.
