Camden Property Trust to Celebrate Opening of New Luxury Apartments in Virginia Tech Corridor

By Erika Schnitzer, Associate EditorHerndon, Va.–Camden Property Trust, a Houston-based real estate company involved in the ownership, development, acquisition, management and disposition of multifamily apartment communities, will celebrate the official opening of Camden Dulles Station, a 366-unit luxury apartment community, this Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.Located five minutes from Dulles International Airport and 20 minutes off the Beltway from Washington, D.C., Camden Dulles Station is situated in the tech corridor, and consequently is expected to draw many urban professionals, notes Charles Kilby, community manager. Companies with headquarters in Herndon include Time Warner, Oracle, Cox Communication and most recently, Volkswagen. Camden Dulles Station offers one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, ranging from 646 to 1,783 sq. ft. Thirty-one different floor plans are available, as well as six different live/work layouts. Monthly rents for the units range from $1,275 to $2,735.Units feature ceramic tile floors and backsplashes, stainless steel kitchen appliances, walk-in closets and full size washers and dryers. Most units also include patios or balconies. According to Kilby, the four-story residential buildings wrap around the parking garage, allowing residents the ability to drive directly to their floor.Amenities include an exercise room, two-tier swimming pool with a cool water spa, sundeck, private movie theater, business center, courtyards with picnic areas and resident lounge with billiards, HDTV and Wi-Fi.The development is currently approximately 22 percent occupied.
