Ryan Serhant of The Serhant Team has announced record-breaking sales at 868 Lorimer On The Park, a newly built luxury condominium development in Brooklyn. Three months after sales launched, the 14-unit property is 50 percent sold. The property also includes the most expensive condo sale in the borough’s Greenpoint neighborhood ($4 million for a Penthouse A unit).

The project was developed by Chatham Development Co. in collaboration with architecture firm Stephen B. Jacobs Group and Ole Sondresen Architect. Located at 868 Lorimer St., it comprises two- and three-bedroom units with private outdoor space. Other amenities include:

  • White oak plank floors
  • State-of-the-art energy recovery ventilation
  • Custom-equipped kitchens
  • Full-time resident manager
  • Part-time doorman
  • Virtual doorman system
  • Gated pick-up and drop-off area
  • Bicycle garage
  • Communal work space
  • Children’s playroom

Sale prices start at $1.6 million and the current vacancies include four units and a penthouse apartment. Neighborhood amenities include schools, parks, eateries, entertainment options, sports fields and landmarks. Public transportation that serve the area include the G subway line and multiple bus lines.

Despite speculation that the New York City multifamily market is overheating, luxury condo development sales are continuing strong in Brooklyn. Austin Nichols House in Williamsburg is also setting records, with a price-per-square-foot record in the neighborhood of more than $1,900.
