BRIDGE Appoints New CFO

With nearly two decades of financial operations and strategy experience, Delphine Sherman will also serve as executive vice president of the company.

BRIDGE Housing Corp. has named Delphine Sherman as executive vice president & chief financial officer. Sherman joins the San Francisco-based nonprofit from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where she served as CFO.

Sherman has nearly 20 years of financial operations and strategy experience. Prior to Haas, she was the CFO of Aspire Public Schools, where she managed a $240 million budget and a 35-employee staff. During her nine-year tenure, she also served as vice president of finance and director of finance.

Previously, she was vice president of client management with consulting firm EDTECH, investment credit analyst at the University of California and senior consulting associate for Cambridge Associates. Sherman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.

In November, BRIDGE added a Haas School of Business staffer to its board of directors. The Harvard graduate specializes in technology startups and urban planning.
