Bosch Washers and Dryers with Leak Protection and Energy Saving Features

Bosch’s Nexxt Laundry systems now come with AquaStop, a leak protection feature on select washers, MistCare, an energy efficient way to relax wrinkles and remove odors, and EcoAction, which increases energy savings up to an additional 10 percent. The AquaStop leak protection system automatically shuts the unit off should the overflow switch detect water in the base and then pumps out all the water in the machine. Secondly, a new double-walled inlet hose recognizes if there is a leak in the hose and immediately stops the water supply at the source.The new MistCare option on the 500plus and 800 series Nexxt Dryers allows consumers to refresh their clothing, without having to put their garments back through another wash and dry cycle. This feature sprays a fine cool mist on clothes during the heat cycle to relax wrinkles and remove odor. The EcoAction option on select washers heightens efficiency by decreasing the temperature and the amount of energy used during the wash cycle up to 20 percent. Select 500plus and 800 series dryer models now also incorporate EcoAction to boost energy savings up to 10 percent by optimizing the heat cycle—with just the simple push of a button.
