Bonaventure Adds 200 Units to Virginia Property

Bonaventure has started construction on the second phase of Palmer’s Creek, a garden-style community in Fredericksburg, Va. The company expects to deliver the phase in the fourth quarter of 2023. According to Bonaventure, the first phase, consisting of two buildings adding up to 200 units, will soon be completed.
The 400-unit lifestyle property will consist of four buildings. Common-area amenities will include a fitness center, gym, swimming pool, playground, clubroom and media room. Palmer’s Creek is located at 9000 and 9014 Spring Valley Lane and will comprise one-, two- and three-bedroom units, between 707 and 1,326 square feet.
Palmer’s Creek is situated 2 miles from Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, 8 miles from University of Mary Washington and 10 miles from Shannon Airport.
At the end of 2021, the company acquired two properties in Virginia, Messenger Place and Magnolia Run, for a total of $77.6 million. Bonaventure continues to expand its Virginia footprint, one of the company’s most recent developments being Attain at Spotsylvania Towne Centre, a 271-unit luxury community. The development’s cost is estimated at $61.5 million and the project is expected to be completed in 2024.
