BLT Enterprises Launches Phase I of New Napa Community
Low completions and growing demand have prompted the development of the 500-unit community.
Napa, Calif.—A new multifamily community is set to ease the pressure off of Napa’s burgeoning residential market. With demand now high, an injection of new housing is as necessary as ever. Phase I of Vista Tulocay, a development project headed by BLT Enterprises, will add much-needed housing inventory to the city. As recently announced by BLT, the project is on track with planning now underway.
Set to take shape on a vacant 20-acre lot in the proximity of Napa’s core, the community will feature 500 residential units at full build-out. The first phase will consist of 282 units over 12.5 acres near the Napa River, while the second phase will add somewhere between 98 and 218 units on the remaining 8 acres.
The first phase will include nine three-story buildings just off Soscol Avenue, and will offer residents views of the Napa River, as well as proximity to a network of trails. The development will also create access to an entertainment center anchored by Century Theaters, through a new bridge over the Tulocay Creek. The community’s unit mix will consist of 77 one-bedroom apartments, 186 two-bedroom apartments, and 11 three-bedroom units, as well as 8 townhomes. Parking at Phase I will include garages, carports, and open parking lots totaling 485 spaces.
