The two-tower, 742-key DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando Downtown at the entrance to Universal Studios was picked up by a Caribbean company affiliated with Sagicor Jamaica Ltd.

Located 20 minutes from Orlando International Airport, just off of I-4, the two 17-story towers are situated on an approximately 16.5-acre site overlooking Lake Ivanhoe. The hotel delivers premium on-site amenities including a heated rooftop pool and lounging deck, fitness center, gift shop, a breakfast buffet, a Sixty South Restaurant & Bar, as well as 62,800 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor meeting and event space. A 24-hour business center is also available with state-of-the-art A/V and connectivity solutions. Guest rooms, suites and executive accommodations boast flat panel TVs, work surfaces, and complimentary internet access.

CBRE Hotels’ team led by Christian Charre, Paul Weimer, Natalie Castillo and Lisa Zaranek negotiated the sale on behalf of an affiliate of Blackstone. CBRE Hotels is a specialized advisory group providing brokerage, valuation and capital markets services to companies in the hospitality sector.
