Bell Partners Names New Executives
Bell Partners Inc., an apartment investment and management company, has named new executives to direct the company's marketing and risk management activities.
Greensboro, N.C.—Bell Partners Inc., an apartment investment and management company, has named new executives to direct the company’s marketing and risk management activities.
Kevin Thompson becomes Bell’s senior vice president for marketing following almost 12 years with AvalonBay Communities Inc. where he most recently served as vice president of marketing, customer service and corporate communications. He assumed his Bell responsibilities on January 30.
At AvalonBay, a nationally known, publicly traded, multifamily operation headquartered in Arlington, Va., Thompson was responsible for building and managing a seven-member marketing team in support of an $11 billion company.
At Bell Partners, Thompson will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing both corporate and property marketing strategies, including direction of promotion and advertising, coordination with sites and oversight of the marketing staff.
Thompson, who holds his undergraduate degree from Western Kentucky, had prior marketing service with Iams Petfood (a Proctor and Gamble subsidiary) and Fruit of the Loom, Inc.
Also joining Bell Partners as vice president for risk management is Sean Rogers, coming from the Brink’s Company after five years service with the Richmond, VA-headquartered firm. Brink’s is a $3.8 billion transportation and secured cash logistics company.
At Brink’s, Rogers was director-risk management and insurance, responsible for the oversight and allocation of the global risk management and insurance programs for its 70,000 employees and operations in 50 countries.
Rogers, who had prior risk management experience at Aon Risk Services of the Carolinas in Charlotte, NC and Burlington Industries in Greensboro, NC, holds an undergraduate degree from the College of Charleston and an associate in risk management (ARM) certification.
Rogers’ responsibilities at Bell will include insurance procurement and the management of risk throughout the firm, including loss prevention and safety, incident reporting and litigation management. He began with Bell on February 5th.
