Barcelona Developer to Open First U.S. Condominium

The property is currently 60 percent sold.”We have a very diversified demographic,” says Andres Hogg, general manager of Espais. “We have singles, married couples and small families.”The 142-unit Twenty9th Park Madison will offer studios, one- and two-bedroom residences, ranging from the low $600,000s to $2.4 million, as well as 10 two-bedroom penthouses, two of which have been sold. The penthouses range in size from 1,255 to 2,070 sq. ft. and are priced from $2.3 million to $4.5 million.Each unit features Sub-Zero refrigerators, Sharp stainless steel microwaves, Thermador ovens, Fisher-Paykel dishwashers and Bosch stacked washers and dryers. Bathrooms include Calacatta marble countertops and Dalvino limestone tile floors and walls. “We are above our competition with very fine details in the kitchen appliances and finishes,” Hogg tells MHN.Designed by New York-based H. Thomas O’Hara Architects, the building blends with those of midtown Manhattan, says Hogg. “The interior is more modern and the finishes are above the average condo in the city.”The development includes a fitness center, yoga room, refrigerated grocery storage, on-site parking, optional storage units and a rooftop deck with two outdoor kitchens, grills and a sunbathing deck overlooking the Empire State and Chrysler buildings. Additionally, Coldwell Banker’s Concierge Service Program provides residents with access to such services as a decorator, cleaning services and private cars.
