Baldwin & Sons Appoints REMM Group As Manager for New Luxury Community
The 300-unit property is slated to open this spring.
San Diego—Baldwin & Sons has appointed The REMM Group as manager of The Enclave in Otay Ranch. The 300 spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes at 1625 Santa Venetia St. in Chula Vista, Calif., were designed for the growing population of renters-by-choice and are slated to open this spring.
“The Enclave is designed to provide convenience and comfort,” said Sara D’Elia, CEO of The REMM Group, in prepared remarks. “Residents can relax in comfy pool-side lounge chairs, enjoy outdoor dining and entertaining spaces with barbecues and fire pits. There’s a game room which includes a pool table, shuffleboard and arcade. There is also a 24-hour fitness center and we’ll have activities like yoga classes available.”
Other community amenities include a clubhouse, business center and 24-hour receiving lockers for packages. The apartments feature washers and dryers, a balcony or patio, granite countertops and walk-in closets. Rent for the 666 to 1,325-square-foot units ranges from $1,695 to $2,790. According to Yardi Matrix data, average rent in San Diego was $1,740 as of February 2017.
The property is close to Otay Ranch Town Center, an outdoor mall with plenty of dining, shopping and entertainment options, and San Diego Bay. Otay Ranch is a planned 5,300-acre pedestrian community with trails and open spaces for runners, hikers and cyclists. Chula Vista is the second largest city in San Diego County and has one of the area’s lowest apartment vacancy rates. The Enclave is the first of the three apartment communities under development by Baldwin & Sons in Otay Ranch.
