Bryan, Texas–The apartment community previously known as Autumn Woods, a 160-unit, 400-bed student housing community located in Bryan, Texas, will now go by a different name: College Edge.

The property’s new owners, New York-based Realco-Claremont LLC, and its new management company, Austin-based Campus Advantage, chose the new name to reflect the community’s close proximity to Blinn College and to emphasize the new array of student focused programs that are now offered.

“Over the next few months we plan an array of upgrades and improvements that should make College Edge an even better place to live,” says John Lari, a partner with Realco-Claremont LLC. “Some of the planned improvements include the phased integration of an electronic lock and key system for every apartment unit, enhancements and resurfacing for common amenities such as our pool and sports facilities, and a totally redesigned clubhouse and fitness center.”

In addition to the planned capital improvements, College Edge has also created five new staff positions for Community Assistants (CAs) and a Director of Residence Life (RD). These new staff members will be focused on delivering a top notch residence life program, building a true sense of community among residents and offering a variety of social and educational activities throughout the year.

“We believe that providing high-quality social and educational programming is one of the most important aspects of operating a student-focused apartment community,” says Dan Oltersdorf, Campus Advantage. “One of the new management team’s highest priorities is to make sure our residents have numerous structured opportunities to learn and grow as individuals.”
