Asset Campus to Manage TX Community

Asset Campus Housing has added the Campus Edge Huntsville student housing community in Huntsville, Texas, to its management portfolio. Last year, a joint venture involving St. Clair Holdings sold the property to a private investor for $8.4 million, according to public records.
The property’s two buildings, located at 2456 Montgomery Road, sit within a half mile of Sam Houston State University. Interstate 45 is less than two miles from the asset, providing direct access to both Houston and the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The community is placed near to the Sam Houston Avenue retail corridor, home to a number of shopping and dining options.
The Huntsville student community was constructed in 2007 and consists of 48 four-bedroom units, each containing 1,224 square feet. Resident amenities include a resort-style swimming pool, a game room, an internet café, a fitness center, tanning beds and a clubhouse. The property additionally offers residents on-site parking.
