Asset Campus Expands Student Housing Management Portfolio
The company has acquired St. Joe Place, a 144-unit community that serves students at Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue University-Fort Wayne.
Asset Campus Housing has been awarded management for St. Joe Place, a 144-unit student housing community in Fort Wayne, Ind. According to data provided by Yardi Matrix, Read Property Group acquired the asset back in April from Blue Vista Capital Group for an undisclosed price. Earlier in June, the company has been selected to oversee operations for a 345-bed Michigan student housing community.
Built in 2009, the student housing community sits on nearly 10 acres at 3310 Academic Place and offers a mix of fully-furnished two- and four-bedroom units. St. Joe Place serves students attending Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue University-Fort Wayne and offers convenient access to various shopping, dining and entertainment venues including Northeast, Indiana Innovation Center, Dunkin’ Donuts, Marketplace of Canterbury, Taco Bell and Zollner Stadium. Each unit includes amenities such as:
- kitchen pantry
- patio/balcony
- washer/dryer
- private bathroom
- eat-in kitchen with barstools
The six three-story buildings offer common-area amenities such as a 24-hour fitness center, game room with gaming stations and pool table, outdoor grilling area, study center with computers, outdoor basketball court and a resort-style swimming poll with hot tub.
