Amy’s Attic Breaks Ground on Austin-Area Facility
The 110,000-square-foot self storage property will open in late spring 2027.

Amy’s Attic Self Storage has broken ground on a 110,000-square-foot facility in Jarrell, Texas. An initial opening is slated for late spring 2027.
The privately funded project will cost $3 million, according to public records, with full completion expected by the end of next year. The development team includes Morales Design Group.
The facility is taking shape at 509 C. Bud Stockton Loop on nearly 6.5 acres, close to Interstate 35 and 40 miles north of Austin, Texas. The property will also be adjacent to 80 single-family homes being developed by an affiliate company.
Amy’s Attic Self Storage Jarrell will feature a range of unit sizes across five non-climate-controlled and six climate-controlled storage buildings. Amenities will include security systems, electronic gate access, extensive lighting and online rental capabilities.

There are three other self storage properties within a 3-mile radius of Amy’s Attic Self Storage Jarrell, providing residents with 9.6 net rentable square feet per capita.
Austin’s under-construction pipeline saw a 50-basis-point jump month-over-month as of May, landing at 3.5 percent of existing inventory, a recent Yardi Matrix report shows. The metro’s average advertised asking rates for the 10×10 non-climate and climate-controlled units combined increased 1.2 percent from April through May.
Amy’s Attic’s Texas Portfolio
Amy’s Attic Self Storage is a Central Texas-based self storage company with a seven-property portfolio totaling nearly 785,000 rentable square feet, according to Yardi Matrix data. The collection includes assets that opened between 1995 and 2026.
The Jarrell facility marks the company’s eighth development in Texas and its first in the area. Other locations in the state include Salado, Temple, Belton, Harker Heights, Waco and Killeen.
The Salado property is the firm’s nearest asset to the Jarrell facility, located within 14 miles of the current self storage development. It already serves the Jarrell area with 78,897 rentable square feet.
Earlier this year, the company opened the 155,427-rentable-square-foot Amy’s Attic Self Storage facility in Killeen. The property encompasses climate-controlled units across 19 buildings and parking for RV and boat.
