The Altman Cos. has broken ground on the 449-unit Altís Grand at Suncoast in Lutz, Fla. PNC Bank provided the financing, while Rockpoint Group investing equity capital. The first units are slated for delivery in 2023.

The community will offer one- to three-bedroom floorplans. Each unit will feature high-end finishes and select units will be accessible by private entries. Community amenities are set to include a clubhouse, fitness center, cybercafe and pool. Several coworking lounges and grilling stations will also available.

The property, which will target National Green Building Standard certification, will include 100 percent energy-efficient lighting, Energy Star refrigerators and dishwashers, as well as electric car charging stations.

The community will be located at 16885 Amaranth Drive, Seth Wise, Co-CEO of The Altman Cos, told Multi-Housing News. Located on the north side of State Road 54, east of Bexley Village Drive, the development site is within proximity of the Suncoast Parkway, connecting it to major employment destinations, as well as cultural and entertainment options.

This is the fifth community The Altman Cos. is developing in the Tampa market, Wise added. This year, the company also opened Altís Miramar in Miramar, Fla., and topped off Altís Ludlam Trail in Miami.
