Developer, builder and manager The Altman Cos. has commenced pre-leasing of Altis Miramar, an environmentally-friendly apartment community at 11385 SW 30 Court in Miramar, Fla., a suburban community situated about 30 miles northwest of Miami.
The three-story, 320-unit garden-style community will offer one- through three-bedroom units averaging 1,062 square feet in size. Apartments will feature direct-access private entries, detached garages, entertaining bars, dual-sink vanities and spacious soaking tubs. The construction of Altis Miramar is expected to be completed in September of next year.
With such sustainable features as energy-efficient lights and water heater, programmable thermostat with humidistat and individual unit electric meter and sub-metered water, the apartment community will be National Green Building Standard (NGBS) certified. A video game room and theater are among the common-area amenities of Altis Miramar. The property is part of a larger master-planned development offering two rental communities distinct from one another. Within that master-planned development will be 50,000 square feet of retail within walking distances of the apartments of future residents.
In addition, the two apartment communities—Altis Miramar and Altra Miramar—are separated by a linear park offering walking and biking. This linear park comprises the missing link required to close a citywide network of pathways.
Transportation conveniences are among attractive qualities of Altis Miramar. The Florida Turnpike and Interstate 75 are just minutes away, enabling quick transportation to employers, highly-rated schools, shopping centers and Broward and Dade County nightlife alternatives. The 6-million-square-foot Miramar Park of Commerce employment center and the 400,000-square-foot Shops of Pembroke Gardens are also situated nearby.
Two months ago, The Altman Cos. opened Altis Grand at the Preserve in the far north Tampa suburb of Odessa, Fla.
