Allied Orion to Manage 2 AL Properties

The Housing Authority of Birmingham District has tapped Allied Orion Group to manage two public housing communities in Birmingham: Roosevelt City Apartments and Benjamin Green Village. The properties total 118 units.
Located along the Bessemer and Birmingham southwest border at 5828 Brewer Drive in Birmingham, Ala., Roosevelt City offers 88 units spread out among private, single-family homes—integrated into the neighborhood, in other words. The community features units ranging from one to four bedrooms.
Benjamin Green Village is less than five miles from Roosevelt City Apartments. The 30-unit community offers three- and four-bedroom units. Its Resident Council coordinates a job skills program and computer lab for both communities, and an after-school program near the Roosevelt City management office is available to residents for both properties.
