Allied Orion Breaks Ground on San Antonio-Area Community

Allied Orion Group has begun construction on The Retreat at Creekside in New Braunfels, Texas. The property is last community being built within Creekside Town Center, a more than 400-acre master-planned development in the Interstate 35 Corridor between Austin, Texas, and San Antonio. Steinberg Dickey Collaborative will design the project, which will include 281 units and is slated for completion in December 2020.

(In April, Allied Orion Group acquired Ashford Apartments, a 312-unit property in Houston’s Energy Corridor, from Trammel Crow Residential.)

Located at 580 Creekside Way, the property will be adjacent to the Resolute Health Hospital, with access to plenty of retail and dining and 36 miles northeast from downtown San Antonio. Additionally, the community will be close to important employers such as Titan Industrial Park, Schlitterbahn Waterpark and Texas State University.

The units at The Retreat at Creekside will range from one to three bedrooms with floorplans from 722 to 1,440 square feet. Common-area amenities will comprise a swimming pool with cabanas, an outdoor entertainment area, multiple grilling and gathering places, a fitness center, a clubhouse, a dog park and several car charging stations.
