Alliance Communities Unveils its Plans for Two Luxury Apartment Projects

By Anuradha Kher, Online News EditorAustin, Texas–Alliance Communities, the Texas division of Phoenix-based Alliance Residential Co., has begun construction on two of its newest luxury apartment developments, Broadstone Travesia and Broadstone Grand Avenue.Broadstone Travesia, which is expected to be completed by mid-2009 is situated in the far north Austin/Round Rock area. The project features 396 one-, two-, and three-bedroom luxury apartments near the 216,000 sq. ft. of Class A office space also under development in Travesia Corporate Park. The rents at Travesia will range from $785 to $1,465.Broadstone Grand Avenue, slated for completion in early 2009, is a 280-unit project located in far north Austin, one mile south of Round Rock with one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Rents range from $760 to $1,430.“The Austin economy is and will continue to be vibrant, creating strong population growth and employment,” says Stephen Sweet, south Texas division partner of Alliance Communities. “Economists and demographers forecast that Austin’s rate of population and employment growth will continue to exceed all other large metro areas in Texas with a higher-than-average economic output,” he adds. Austin is already home to Dell Computer’s headquarters, Samsung’s semiconductor plant, Farmer’s Insurance, Abbot Laboratories, Hewlett-Packard, IBM and National Semiconductor, among others.Broadstone Travesia and Broadstone Grand Avenue both feature amenities such as private garages, faux wood plank flooring, stainless steel appliances, upscale plumbing fixtures and custom cabinetry. The buildings also have lush landscaping, first class fitness facilities, business centers, and cyber lounges.  Affiliates of Alliance Communities are the developer, owner, general contractor and property management agent for both projects.
