AHV Completes San Antonio Community

AHV Communities has completed the development of Farm Haus, a 142-unit luxury duplex-style community in San Antonio’s Northwest submarket.
Capstone Real Estate Services manages the community and provides on-site leasing services, which are currently underway.
The Farm Haus floorplans range in size from 1,134 to 1,645 square feet. Options include two-, three- and four-bedroom units, each featuring a direct entrance to a two-car garage and a private, enclosed backyard.
Apartments at the community boast a variety of amenities, including quartz countertops, energy-efficient stainless steel appliances, shaker cabinets, chrome plumbing fixtures and walk-in closets. In addition, the units are equipped with smart home technology such as modern LED lights, smart control panels and door locks, as well as Wi-Fi thermostats and Wi-Fi garage door openers.
Residents also have access to a 2,991-square-foot amenity center featuring a gym, kitchen, meeting room and lounge area. Additional amenities include bocce courts, a pool, as well as walking paths and a designated area for pets.

Farm Haus is located at 8150 W. Hausman Road, in an infill area, near Loop 1604 and less than 4 miles from Interstate 10, offering connectivity to San Antonio’s main employment centers. Notable nearby employers include the University of Texas at San Antonio, Valero Energy Corp., the South Texas Medical Center and the United Service Automobile Association.
The property is also close to multiple retail options, including The Shops at Cantera and The Rim, as well as a variety of entertainment destinations like Sea World, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and Top Golf. The University of Texas San Antonio main campus, Brandeis High School, Stinson Middle School and Steubing Elementary School are also nearby.
In a prepared statement, AHV Communities Founder & CEO Mark Wolf said that just as in many other markets in the Sun Belt region, demand for housing options is growing rapidly in San Antonio. With home prices and interest rates making homeownership unattainable for many, the company’s built-for-rent model provides an alternative in the current economic climate.
According to Yardi Matrix data, AHV Communities’ San Antonio portfolio comprises three properties totaling 492 units.
