11th American Business Awards Recognizes Auction.com’s Online Consumer Real Estate Platform

Auction.com has been recognized a second time this year by The 11th Annual American Business Awards, known as the Stevie Awards.

Irvine, Calif.—Auction.com (www.auction.com) has been recognized a second time this year by The 11th Annual American Business Awards, known as the Stevie Awards. The first round of Stevie Awards, held in June, recognized innovation in business while the second round recognizes innovation in technology. Auction.com’s revolutionary approach to how real estate is bought and sold online has been recognized in both rounds.

Auction.com received a Silver Stevie for Best New Product or Service – Software – Electronic Commerce Solution. The company also received a Bronze Stevie as the Most Innovative Tech Company of the Year (up to 2,500 employees) for leading a revolution in how buyers, sellers and agents transact residential real estate.  The awards were announced at the ABA’s New Product and Technology Awards Presentation on Monday, September 16 in San Francisco.

The awards, which are judged by more than 300 executives on a nationwide basis, recognize Auction.com’s 2012 launch of a consumer-to-consumer platform, which successfully brings buyers and sellers together in a highly transparent and competitive process. The company’s extensive marketing program and unique online platform attracts pools of qualified buyers, which allows all parties to benefit from a timely sale at a fair price for both buyer and seller.

In the first round of the 2013 awards announced earlier this year, Auction.com received a Bronze Stevie as the Most Innovative Company of the Year (up to 2,500 employees) and a second Bronze Stevie for Business Innovation of the Year – Consumer Services Industries.

The Stevie Awards were created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and business people worldwide.
