Secaucus, N.J.—The Atlantic Realty Development Corporation-owned and Perkins Eastman-designed Xchange at Secaucus Junction development in Secaucus, N.J., has announced the addition of a second apartment building, Next, as well as a state-of-the-art amenity center, The Station.
“We’ve been a part of the Secaucus community for several years now, and with the addition of Next and The Station, we’ve created a community with incomparable offerings and convenience,” says William Hayes, a representative of the owner of Atlantic Realty Development Corporation. “We’ve already received unprecedented interest in both Next and The Station, and we can’t wait to open our doors to the new standard in ultra-modern luxurious living.”
The development’s first residential project, Helix (formerly known as Xchange), was completed in 2008 and includes three buildings that are comprised of 799 units. The Next building adds another 579 luxury units to the riverfront commuter village. Leasing is already underway and rents are starting in the low $2,000s.
Next residences are offered in one- and two-bedroom floor plans and include high-end finishes and elements such as Blue Ice granite countertops, glass tile kitchen backsplashes, stainless steel appliances, wood-grain ceramic tile flooring in the kitchen and foyer areas and two-inch horizontal composite window blinds, washer and dryer, as well as bathrooms that vaunt full-granite vanity countertops and high-end fixtures. Technological elements of the units include recessed ceiling surround sound speakers, and upgraded in-unit Comlit video/messaging intercom system.
At four-stories, The Station offers fee-based memberships to residents of Helix and Next. The 35,000-square-foot center features resort-style amenities including a lap pool with integrated hot tub, a hot and cold yoga room, a fitness-on-demand studio, a state of the art golf simulator, outdoor fitness equipment and spa treatments in the center’s Aqua Grotto & Spa. Other spaces include a gaming and billiards room, a screening room, a party and event room with walk-out balcony and other lounge areas.
“Many of our residents commute to Manhattan each day, and we wanted to provide an escape from their hectic schedules,” Hayes says. “We’ve carefully designed every inch of The Station to address the many different health and lifestyle needs of renters, all just steps away from home.”
Between Helix and Next, renters can choose from a variety of one-, two and three-bedroom options in a location that is commuter friendly. The development’s location near the Secaucus Junction train station allows for one-stop access to Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan.
