Work Begins on 318-Unit Luxury Community in NC
Dominion Realty Partners broke ground on The Residences at Shiloh Crossing in Morrisville. Capital Bank provided construction financing for the project.
Dominion Realty Partners is building its 32nd project in the Research Triangle—The Residences at Shiloh Crossing in Morrisville, N.C. The company has broken ground on the $59 million community that is set to feature 318 Class A units and 5,000 square feet of community space. Capital Bank is providing construction financing for the project, which has been designed by Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio. Batson Cook Construction Co. will serve as general contractor and Priest Craven & Associates as civil engineer.
The future property will provide easy access to major transportation arteries such as interstates 40 and 540, Chapel Hill Road or Durham Freeway. Shiloh Crossing Shopping Center and several employment destinations within the Research Triangle area will also be within easy reach. The Residences at Shiloh Crossing is slated to feature a swimming pool, a clubhouse and a community center.
Green and sustainability concepts
In addition to luxurious interior finishes, the project aims to obtain a green designation from the National Association of Home Builders. Moreover, out of the roughly 48 acres Dominion purchased for this project, only 20 percent will be used for the new construction, with the rest of the land remaining undisturbed.
“All Dominion projects, both multifamily and commercial, are designed and built to some level of certified Green standard. It is something that we take very seriously and are committed to and passionate about, this being our 17th environmentally certified project,” said Chris Carlino, director at Dominion, in prepared remarks.
The first units are anticipated to be delivered by the middle of 2020, with the project finalizing later that year. Dominion Realty Partners has been active in the Carolinas in the past few years. The company sold Centric Gateway, a 297-unit asset in Uptown Charlotte.
