Multifamily developer and investor Wood Partners has taken the wraps off its new luxury residential community in San Francisco. Situated in the city’s Potrero Hill neighborhood, Alta Potrero is a 172-unit property that will be managed by Wood Residential Services.

The community includes a blend of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging in size from 450 to more than 1,250 square feet, plus townhomes and 6,700 square feet of first-floor retail space.

Features and finishes of the apartment homes include floor-to-ceiling windows, individual climate controls, in-unit front-load washers and dryers and quartz countertops, backsplashes and islands. A pair of large rooftop terraces featuring grills, fire pits and 360-degree San Francisco skyline panoramas top a lengthy list of common-area amenities.

Dynamic enclaves

Alta Potrero’s address at 1301 16th St. places residents near job hubs, dining and nightlife venues, as well as transportation centers. Neighboring BART, MUNI and Caltrain stations, along with bike lanes and bus lines, allow for easy commutes to work in the city.

Interstate 280 and Highway 101 also provide convenient access to employment centers. They include major tech company headquarters and the offices of major financial and medical research employers situated within 2 miles of Alta Potrero.

Safeway and Whole Foods stores provide supermarket shopping within one half mile of the property. In addition, Potrero Hill is encircled by eclectic neighborhoods where scores of local restaurants, bistros, coffee shops and other small businesses are found. The community is located within seven minutes of a trio of colleges and universities, California College of the Arts; University of California, San Francisco; and Golden Gate University.

Children’s Creativity Museum, Buena Vista Park, Randall Museum, Heron’s Head Park and Aquarium of the Bay can all be reached in drives of 5 to 10 minutes duration.

Earlier this month, Wood Partners opened a new luxury Houston community.
