Wood Partners Opens Luxury Houston Community
The 338-unit property is the company’s ninth completed or ongoing development in the metro.
One month after opening a 328-unit luxury residential property in Orlando, Fla., Wood Partners has officially opened Alta Med Main, a 338-unit luxury community in Houston’s Texas Medical Center district.
The developer broke ground on the property in January 2019, with EDI International serving as architect. This is Wood’s ninth completed or ongoing development in the metro.
The four-story building at 9330 S Main St. houses studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans ranging from 495 to 1,270 square feet. All apartments have walk-in closets, Energy Star appliances and smart technology features.
Common-area amenities include a clubroom, business center, conference room and fitness center with a virtual fitness studio. The property also features outdoor amenities such as two courtyards, a swimming pool, a tranquility space, entertaining areas and a dog park with pet washing station.
The 4.2-acre property is some 10 miles southwest of downtown Houston, just north of Interstate 610 and roughly one mile from NRG Stadium. The newly completed community is just a few miles from another Wood Partners’ development, a 304-unit luxury community slated for a 2022 completion.
