Wood Partners and Astani Enterprises have debuted The Fifty Five Fifty, their latest multifamily development in Los Angeles. Construction on the 280-unit, partially affordable community began in September 2015, Yardi Matrix data shows. Wood Residential Services, a subsidiary of the owner, will operate the property.
Located at 5550 Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles’ Silverlake submarket, the community is positioned within half a mile of the Hollywood Freeway, offering access to the city’s downtown, six miles away. The Metro’s Hollywood/Western station sits one block away, near an abundance of shopping and dining options.
The property includes a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, ranging in size from 473 to 1,513 square feet. Community amenities include a 3,000-square-foot fitness center, a deck with a swimming pool and spa, collaborative ground-floor work spaces, an outdoor concert area, bicycle storage and a movie screening room. 396 covered parking spaces are also available for residents.
