Isla Antigua in St. Augustine marks the company's 13th acquisition in Florida.
West Shore has acquired Isla Antigua, a 249-unit community in St. Augustine, Fla. The transaction marks the firm’s 13th Florida acquisition. The previous owner was Catalyst Development Partners, according to Yardi Matrix information.
Located at 655 W. Marina Cove Drive, the newly constructed community came online in 2019. Apartments at Isla Antigua feature modern kitchens, high-end finishes and private balconies. Common-area amenities include a swimming pool, private cabanas, outdoor grilling and dining areas, a clubhouse, a business center, a kayak launch system and a fitness center. Isla Antigua is 4 miles from downtown St. Augustine. Numerous dining and retail options are nearby, while Flagler Hospital is 2 miles away.
The company’s national footprint includes 8,361 apartment units. Recently, West Shore grew its Southeast footprint and acquired two communities totaling 548 units in the Carolinas. Berkley Hall Cos. sold Plantation at Pleasant Ridge in Greensboro, N.C., while a private investor traded Town Center at Lake Carolina in Columbia, S.C.
