Orlando, Fla.Wendover Housing Partners announced the opening of its newest property, the 208-unit Weston Park apartment community. The transit-oriented development brings the first multifamily units to an area located directly adjacent to the City of Longwood’s SunRail Station. While the project has created more than 200 temporary construction jobs, Wendover also hired an in-house management staff to run the property, adding a number of permanent positions to the project.

The development, which broke ground in December 2014, is the result of a $30 million investment and multiple government partnerships. Located within walking distance to local shops and businesses, the property comprises a parking structure, which is open to SunRail riders, as well as residents. Community amenities include a luxury clubhouse, pool, fire pit, game room, dog park as well as concierge services.

Rents for the one-, two- and three-bedroom units range between $953 and $1,460 per month.
