Wall*nut Brings the Functional Beauty a Bathroom Deserves

Brooklyn-based design studio Think Fabricate has unveiled a line of vanities that build off the well-received Wall*nut Medicine Cabinet. The texture, warmth and elegance of wood can heighten room aesthetics without creating a feeling of clutter.

WN_3One of the major design takeaways from MHN’s 2014 Excellence Awards judging was that ‘wood is good.’ The texture, warmth and elegance of wood can heighten room aesthetics without creating a cluttered feel. In addition, the utilitarian design that is gaining traction in apartment developments can be balanced out by wood.

Take the new Wall*Nut Vanity from the Brooklyn-based design studio Think Fabricate. The vanity builds off the success of the Wall*nut Medicine Cabinet and is a new option when looking for a minimalistic, yet refined, approach to furnishing a bathroom.

WN_2The piece is available is a variety of sizes. The Vanity XL comes in at just over six feet in length, and mirrors the asymmetrical composition of the Medicine Cabinet XL. Each of the functional spaces of the vanity—a narrow side cabinet, four drawers and a sliding door—are bound by contrasting metallic and natural finishes that aid in organization and looks. Additional sizes match the L, M and S versions of the medicine cabinet series.
