Virtus Real Estate Capital and Aspen Heights Announce Joint Venture on New Student Housing

Austin, Texas–Virtus Real Estate Capital, a real estate private equity firm, and Aspen Heights, a student housing development and management company, have partnered to develop a 684-bed cottage-style student housing community, located close to the University of Oklahoma.

With a completion date of August 2015, construction has begun on the new student housing development that will begin preleasing in late October. The student housing development will offer best-in-class amenities, superior interior finish outs and the largest units in the market.

Founded in 2006, Aspen Heights develops and manages student-housing properties throughout the United States with all the convenience and amenities of luxury apartment communities.
