Versatile Risers and Brackets for Stairways
Decorative stair brackets can accommodate left and right configurations and are offered in two designs.

L. J. Smith Stair Systems has debuted its new reversible stair riser and decorative stair bracket product lines. The risers are constructed from primed poplar and mitered to the stringer. One side displays a shiplap design, while the other side features a beaded planking design.
The risers are 7.5 inches tall and ¾-inch thick. They are available in 49-, 54- and 60-inch lengths and installed during construction.
The reversible stair risers add a decorative element to traditional stairways and can be painted to complement existing décor.
The stair brackets can be installed below stair tread returns or on stair risers. The decorative product can accommodate left and right configurations and is offered in two designs: a straight mission-style Craftsman look and a curved modern shape. Finish options include red oak for staining and birch for painting.
