Venterra Kicks Off 312-Unit Houston-Area Project

The first units are expected to come online in the second quarter of 2025.

Venterra Realty has started construction on Camber Ridge at Cross Creek Ranch, a 312-unit multifamily project in Fulshear, Texas. First units are expected to come online in the second quarter of next year.

Project partners include architecture firm Steinberg Dickey Collaborative and general contractor Domain Builders. Wilson Cribbs + Goren Attorney Marc Kasner represented Venterra in the site acquisition, while Fifth Third Bank Senior Vice President Greg Pettigrew provided construction financing.

Upon completion, the community will consist of eight three-story buildings, according to Yardi Matrix information. Common-area amenities are expected to include a clubroom, fitness center, swimming pool and outdoor lounge, along with package lockers and coworking spaces. The property will also feature sanctuary buildings focused on providing a peaceful living experience.

Camber Ridge is rising at 5900 Texas Heritage Parkway within Cross Creek Ranch, the 3,200-acre master-planned community owned by Johnson Development Corp. The site is some 5 miles from The Southpark at Cinco Ranch shopping center and 33 miles from downtown Houston.

Venterra’s recent multifamily expansion

Venterra Realty currently manages and owns more than $5 billion in multifamily properties across the U.S., and in excess of 20 communities in Greater Houston. One of the firm’s newest additions to its Space City footprint is Avasa Spring Branch, a 361-unit community purchased in August.

Last March, the company entered Kansas City, Mo., with the acquisition of the 456-unit Timberlane Village community. And, in the fourth quarter of 2023, the firm purchased Avasa Grove West, a 330-unit garden style asset that changed hands for $95 million.
