US Real Estate Market to Remain Healthy in 2018

At the 2017 ULI Fall Meeting in Los Angeles, TH Real Estate Head of Americas Research Melissa Reagen shared her 2018 outlook for the U.S. real estate market and economy, including her expectations for interest rates, the capital markets, foreign investment and the major asset classes.Â
“We’re certainly in the mature phase of the cycle. … Appreciation growth has slowed, rent growth has slowed—all kind of signs that we’re late in the cycle,” Reagen said. “But that doesn’t mean it’s going to end immediately or abruptly.”
