New York—A boom of color welcomed new luxury housing towers to Manhattan.
The Amirian Group teamed up with Million Dollar Listing star Ryan Serhant to launch the luxury housing towers Thirteen East + West, located on 436 and 442 East 13th St. The event, hosted in partnership with ArtBattles, ‘Walk of Art Inc.’ and EBC High School, was a celebration of art, real estate, children, and charity. During the event, Nest Seekers International made donations of $1,000 to Walk of Art and $1,000 to EBC High School.
ArtBattles’ artists completely transformed the front facades of the two 25×25 foot buildings with their free-flowing style. Artists “King of New York” Cemesto, who recently took the title at the Le Poisson Rouge Finals, and El Nino de Las Pinturas AKA Sex, European ArtBattles Champion and world-renowned Spanish artist, battled with their brushes. Children from Walk of Art and EBC High School joined them to reface the facades developed by The Amirian Group and Bridgeton Holdings.
“We chose this unique marketing approach with ArtBattles to reflect the character of the neighborhood in which we are developing,” David Amirian, president and founder of The Amirian Group, told MHN. “The East Village is one of Manhattan’s liveliest neighborhoods and we wanted to do something that would bring attention to our project but also in a way that would benefit the community.”
The battle theme was ‘Transience.’ According to the press release, “Buildings go up, buildings come dow nadn art too is victim to the vicissitudes of time. These murals, which underlie the theme of new beginnings, will have a short lifespan, speaking to the disposable spirit of life, time and the present zeitgeist.”
Ryan Serhant and Brian Chan of Nest Seekers International, David Amirian of The Amirian Group and Atit Jariwala of Bridgeton Holdings hosted a preview at 432 East 13th of the developments that will be realized at both of the addresses. The event wrapped up as Serhant, Cernesto and Pinturas along with Thomas Gleisner of EBC High School presented a special award to a deserving student artist. Bravo filmed the event for the next season of MDLNY.
