Indonesia–Trump Hotel Collection is set to strengthen its bond with MNC Group as it begins second venture with the investment firm. The Donald Trump-controlled entity will be part of a new upscale development project located in Lido, in the West Java province of Indonesia.
Current known as Lido Lakes, the area will be redeveloped by MNC into a luxury resort that also offers a residential element. The property is located 40 miles from Jakarta, Indonesia’s capital and largest city.
The company’s goal is to create a ”3,000-hectare world-class integrated lifestyle resort destination, heralded by the completion of the Bogor-Sukabumi toll road which will enable guests an uprecedented opportunity,” MNC Group President and CEO Bapak Hary Tanoesoedibjo said. The road leading to the property is also being built by MNC Group.
Phase one of the development will include a six-star luxury resort, an 18-hole signature Ernie Els championship golf course, Lifestyle County Club, spa and a residential component featuring both luxury villas and condos. The Trump Hotel Collection’s involvement will be most apparent in the development of this phase, and will include the company’s first golf course on the continent.
