Coming in at number 10 is the five-building package deal at 609 to 619 W 135 Street in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. Brooklyn-based landlord Isaac Herskovitz closed the deal at $31,000,000. All five buildings have a combined 105 units.

For $39,213,245 the buildings offer over 63,000 square feet of rental space including a combined 79 apartments and 1 commercial unit.

Collegiate Asset Management Corp. purchased 378 W End Avenue in the UWS neighborhood for $45 million. Built in 1920, the 67,347 square feet rental building houses 60 units.

New Jersey-based firm, Atlantic Realty, bought into Lightstone’s massive and neighborhood contentious 700 unit project when they picked up the parcel at 363 Bond Street in Gowanus. Plans are underway to build a 12-story, 268-unit rental building on the site.

Finally at number one, the most expensive multifamily deal of September 2015, is the 157,364 SF, 238-256 W 19 Street in Chelsea. Purchased by BRE FSC, the massive building’s 16 stories house 202 apartments.
