Toll Brothers Opens Its 1st Connecticut Community

This luxury property comprises 356 apartments.

Toll Brothers Inc.’s rental arm, Toll Brothers Apartment Living, in partnership with CrossHarbor Capital Partners, has officially opened its first rental property in Connecticut.

Julius is a 356-unit luxury community in Stamford that started receiving residents in September. Toll Brothers developed it with the aid of a $94.1 million loan originated by Capital One in 2022, according to Yardi Matrix information.

Julius is at 777 Summer St., near Interstate 95, connecting it to downtown Manhattan, some 40 miles southwest. The community consists of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging between 546 and 1,101 square feet.

Amenities include a swimming pool, a courtyard with outdoor kitchen and a fitness center, as well as shared coworking spaces, a rooftop lounge, a game room and a parking garage with EV charging stations. Julius also features ground-floor retail space.

Since its inception, Toll Brothers Apartment Living has completed more than 10,000 units across the U.S., with another 18,000 units in the development pipeline.

Last month, the firm opened its first residential tower in San Diego, in partnership with PGIM Real Estate. A $187 million loan financed the construction of the 37-story, LEED Gold-certified community.
