The William Warren Group Expands in Sacramento
The company opened its ninth StorQuest-branded property in the city.
The William Warren Group has entered the Sacramento, Calif., self storage market with the opening of a 79,671-square-foot facility. This is one of the seven Sacramento properties managed by the company under the StorQuest brand.
Completed in late August, the self storage facility was built with the help of $5.8 million in construction financing from Zions Bank, according to Yardi Matrix data.
The property is located at 5701 Mack Road and comprises six single-story buildings across 7.5 acres. Storage spaces include climate-controlled units as well as RV and boat parking spaces. Unit size ranges between 25 and 300 square feet. Other features include 24-hour digital surveillance and drive-up access to larger units.
Situated in the Parkway neighborhood, the facility is next to a large retail corridor west of Highway 99 and less than 10 miles south of downtown Sacramento. According to Yardi Matrix data, there are 25 other self storage facilities within a 3-mile radius, offering 8.41 rentable square feet per capita.
In early August, The William Warren Group sold four self storage properties in Colorado, California and Washington. CBRE Global Investors acquired the portfolio for $118 million.
