A popular restaurant is about to open its first location in the state of Maryland. Teriyaki Madness has recently signed a lease for space at Valley Village, in the Owings Mills section of Baltimore County and plans to open its doors to the public in early 2016.

Teriyaki Madness’ new home is an office and retail project located at 9199 Reisterstown Rd. The complex is managed by David S. Brown Enterprises and offers 55,000 square feet of office space on two levels, and 48,000 square feet of ground floor retail space. The property is surrounded by a free surface parking lot.

Ken Bernstein of David S. Brown Enterprises represented the landlord in the transaction, while Suzanne Katz of H & R Retail represented the new tenant. Teriyaki Madness, called the “Chipotle of Japanese food” by some, will join other existing tenants at Valley Village. These include Lenny’s Delicatessen, COSI, Next Day Blinds and Bernard Shear Optical.

“Teriyaki Madness offers the ideal eat-and-go restaurant concept for this section of Reisterstown Road, which is surrounded by dense residential sections as well as numerous office buildings and business communities,” Ken Bernstein said in a statement. “Consumers are attracted to this new-style restaurant brand that offers a variety of choices, a fast-casual setting and fresh ingredients.”
