Because it is a garden-style property, the 192-unit apartment community presents a distinctive look within its micro-market. It is encircled by newly-constructed mid-rise and podium-style structures. Built 30 years ago, 251 North features a blend of one- and two-bedroom apartments, which range in size from 540 to 1,250 square feet.
Features, amenities
Features and finishes of the apartment homes include vaulted ceilings, washer-dryers, air conditioning, fireplaces, and dishwashers. Notable among the list of amenities is the cardio fitness center.
The apartment community’s location at 300 Cityline Ave. NE places 251 North Apartments within a short walk from Ponce City Market. Housed in the adaptive reuse development of an old Sears, Roebuck and Co. structure, Ponce City Market is a mixed-use community hub with a food hall, shops, offices and gathering spaces.
Five different major recreational attractions are situated within three minutes of the community: Georgia Conservancy, Atlanta Beltline Eastside Trail, Piedmont Park, Georgia Aquarium and the Children’s Museum of Atlanta.
Universities, job hubs
Also nearby is an array of higher learning facilities. Georgia State University is a four-minute drive away, while Georgia Institute of Technology and Clark Atlanta University are seven and eight minutes distant respectively. Five different transit stops are located within five minutes of the property.
Whether driving on nearby Interstate 275 or commuting aboard MARTA rapid transit trains, residents can gain quick, easy access to a number of employment centers, among them downtown Atlanta and Buckhead.
Taurus officials have indicated the 251 North Apartments acquisition, at below current replacement cost, enables the company to benefit from the ongoing positive transformation of one of Atlanta’s most beloved neighborhoods.
