StreetLights Residential Breaks Ground on Arlington Project
Dubbed The Jackson, the luxury development is part of a larger master-planned community called Viridian.
StreetLights Residential has broke ground on The Jackson, a new luxury apartment community in the Dallas-Fort Worth suburb of Arlington, Texas. The development is a component of a larger master-planned community called Viridian. The four-story, 340-unit property will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans ranging from 588 to 1,671 square feet. Two-story carriage units will also be offered.

“Under development since 2008, the 2,000-acre Viridian community has become synonymous with the highest-quality single-family living in the core of the Metroplex,” Greg Coutant, StreetLights director of development, told Multi-Housing News. “We believe The Jackson residents will desire that same idyllic lifestyle and commitment to quality homes and high-quality finishes built in Viridian over the last decade.”
Private lounge
Among features and finishes of residences at The Jackson are spa-inspired bathrooms, granite countertops, island seating and custom cabinetry. A private lounge with residents’ coffee bar will be among the property’s leading amenities.
“The scale of the entire (Viridian) community allows for over 500 acres of open space and another 500 acres of lakes, rivers and wetlands,” added Coutant. “Viridian is one of the only master-planned communities in Texas designed to meet Audubon Gold Signature Standards. Easy access to nearby lakes and trails along with the convenient centralized location come together to create an ideal setting for the active resident.”
Slated to welcome first move-ins in autumn 2020, The Jackson is situated minutes from AT&T Stadium and the recently opened Texas Live! The Six Flags Hurricane Harbor and Six Flags Over Texas theme parks are also located nearby.
“The Jackson (is) a design-build project consisting of a collaborative construction approach in which the architect, WDG Architecture, and the interior architect, Ink + Oro, worked hand in hand with SLR Construction, the general contractor, to ensure commitment to detail and the most luxurious boutique-style living in the area.”
