SKC Marco Shores Begins Preleasing Florida Apartments
First move-ins are scheduled for July.
SKC Marco Shores LLC has begun preleasing at MainSail Apartments Marco Shores in Naples, Fla. The four-story tall, elevator-serviced community features masonry construction and includes 100 one- and two-bedroom garden-style apartments. The property is set along the Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, featuring 110,000 acres of mangrove forests, uplands and protected waters. It is also adjacent to the Hammock Bay Golf & Country Club.
Residences extend from 751 to 1,231 square feet in size. Features and finishes include in-unit washers and dryers, exterior balconies, fully-equipped kitchens and 26 single-vehicle enclosed garages. Common area amenities include a swimming pool and sundeck.

“The only challenges that arose were the material suppliers being able to live up to the supplies we were contracted for,” Duke Kassolis, managing partner for SKC Marco Shores LLC, told Multi-Housing News. “We were able to overcome the material supply concerns and we were able to get ahead of any delays.”
Kassolis added several factors combined to make this the right time and place for MainSail Apartments Marco Shores. They include the strong demand for market-rate apartments in the area, and the distinctive location right over the bridge from Marco Island, which features no market-rate apartment communities.
“We feel the location uniqueness is a big attribute of the community,” he said.
Weller Management, with more than 20,000 units under management across 80 properties in 30 cities, will handle property management. Preleasing begins next month, with expected move-ins starting in July. Two months ago, a Ryan Companies joint venture broke ground on a Naples, Fla., senior living community
